 I had ~/.gaim/logs as symlink to ~/gaimlogs pre-migration, and post-
 migration, ~/.purple/logs was a symlink to ~/gaimlogsT???W?@???.

 This was on my second migration (two user profiles) -- the first one went
 just fine, but was with an earlier revision (before the #error was
 removed)

 I moved ~/.gaim/logs to ~/gaimlogs and symlinked expressly so my logs
 weren't lost; so the symlink was not a long-standing thing.
