 Of course, this is what I need to run Pidgin succesfully in my network
 environment,
 as NTLM authentication, as written in proxy.c, didn't work for me, though
 our network
 supports NTLM.
 And I'm not the maintainer of proxy.c script.
 I only suggested to implement the possibility to choice the type of proxy
 authentication during compilation process. Something like
 ./configure --proxy-auth=NTLM|BASIC
