 In regards to Ticket #410.
 A useful feature was added that would intercept non-standard commands;
 however, this is interfering with a bot I use on the xmpp protocol in
 which several of the commands start with '/'. Since the bot seems to trim
 preceding spaces I can still use it with the new version, but a turning it
 off altogether would be more useful in my case. I've reverted to 2.0.2 to
 avoid the annoyance but a preference to set just once would be very
 convenient. Would it be possible to put a flag to turn off this feature
 and link it to the GUI in future releases. Thank you.
