Comment:

 We are not likely ever to support nested groups.  They are not necessary
 and none of the protocols support it.

 As for the other issue (reporting two issues in a ticket is not a good
 idea), it is a known and fixed bug for 2.1.1.

 I'm marking this as wontfix because of the first issue, which is actually
 an enhancement.  For this same reason I'm changing this from defect to
 enhancement.  The other issue should have been its own ticket but it's
 already been reported numerous times and has been fixed.
