 Truly I think it's this crappy Feisty Fawn distro causing the problem. I
 initially compiled and ran pidgin 2.1.0 successfully with AND without the
 myspace protocol additions. Now both instances segfault. Edgy didn't have
 this problem.

 However, in the event that it's not a Feisty issue and that it helps, I've
 attached the backtrace.

 The app crashes at startup, attempting to login to all of my protocols:
 AIM, MSN, yahoo, myspace, google.
