Comment:

 The tab appearing at the top when you have tabs disabled is a duplicate of
 #2656.

 The complaint about several clicks to insert smileys is #2668.

 I'm pretty sure you're the only one who liked that the conversation
 windows always appeared in the top left :).  There are two possible
 solutions for this: you can use the "Hide new IM conversations"
 preference, which will cause new conversations not to appear until you
 click the system tray icon,  or the "Minimize new conversation windows"
 preference which will cause new conversation windows to appear minimized
 and not grab focus.

 I'm not familiar with any issues related to smileys, what exactly are you
 entering for the smiley text that is not being received by your buddies?
 Are you using a custom smiley theme?

 In the future, please don't create a bug report like this, it is very hard
 to read.  Instead (after checking for duplicates), you should create a
 ticket for each issue.
