 Because we despise illiteracy, and if we can make the world just that much
 more literate, it's worth our while.  Some of the examples you give should
 possibly be changed -- for example, "cuz" should likely become "'cause",
 which keeps the informal fashion, but in the way a literate person might
 write it.  However, every correction in that list is there because someone
 wanted it put there; the fact that you don't like some of them does not
 mean that someone else cannot.

 The list is editable for this very reason.
