 To me, at least, it's a poor user experience to have a random browser
 window that already had a page loaded then get taken over by the IM
 client.  I guess I can understand if you want to close this because you
 feel your time is better spent elsewhere; it's just one of the bigger
 annoyances with Pidgin that are pointing me back to Trillian.
