 I recently upgraded from 2.2.0 to 2.3.0
 upon upgrading i would get a message
 "Could not connect to authentication server: Unknown error."
 now, i was just logged on to AIM 10 minutes prior before i had upgraded.
 just to double check, i installed AIM and was able to login just fine.
 In fact, i tried reverting to 2.2.0, and i still got the same error.
 help?
 this affects both my aim and icq accounts.
 btw, i had previously upgraded pidgin without these issues, and all of my
 account info is still plugged into the program.
