 I tried Gaim 2.0 beta 2. It managed to connect to Yahoo just fine, though
 it couldn't find AIM and acted like it was unknown; MSN just made it
 crash. I'm guessing the protocols had changed that much. Considering how
 well Pidgin 2.2.1 worked [can't find that version on your website for re-
 download] it makes me wonder if the protocols changed again and that's why
 2.3.1 doesn't connect. I know its merely conjecture.

 [sighs] I don't know how to fix this problem and I can't get ahold of the
 older Pidgin. I may have to use something else until this is fixed; I'm
 very stuck.
