Comment (by kobedf):

 Yes, it is very useful.
Two issues i would like to talk about though.
1.it would be nice to be able to set the timeout value to whatever i
choose to. To me 10 minutes is not enough.
 2.More important.
Suppose i talk to somebody and close the window. Every time the window
opens up again it also tries to show the entire discussion (assuming timer
has not expired). If there is a lot of text i have to watch how the text
 scrolls itself
from the beginning to the end, and after a few seconds i can resume
talking again. Would an option that allows me to show the history only
when i want to and otherwise show only the last 10 lines or so, be ok to
 implement?
