 This is request for a feature.

 Every time I change my status from online to offline or from offline to
 online,
 pidgin displays editbox under status chooser widget. It waits several
 seconds
 for editing text there. I do not use it and I must wait or press Enter to
 speed
 up status change every time. This is annoying.

 Pidgin needs a option in Preferences dialog to disable this feature (text
 editing
 on status change) to allow user change status immediately and without
 pressing Enter.
