Comment:

 I too can reproduce this, and I managed to get it to crash Pidgin once by
 intentionally causing multiple editable areas to appear.  I've not been
 able to reproduce the crash while running in gdb.  Sean, you get this
 ticket since you wrote the infopane ;)
