 Currently we scale buddy icons using gdk_pixbuf_scale_simple() (I think).
 For animated images this causes us to lose the animation and the scaled
 image will only show the first frame.

 Animated images should only be shown in conversation windows and in the
 account editor (and NOT in the buddy list).  The relevant code is in
 gtkconv.c, gtkutils.c, and gtkaccount.c.
