Comment:

 The Pidgin installer relies on the appropriate registry entries being
 present in order to find the GTK+ installation.

 If GTK+ was installed by an Admin user, there will be a registry entry in
 `HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GTK\2.0`.

 The bug seems to be that when installing Pidgin as a restricted user, the
 installer only looks in `HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\GTK\2.0` and doesn't
 look for a global GTK+ installation.

 I'll look into fixing this - hopefully for the next release.
