 To be clear, we encourage you to fork pidgin if you feel so strongly about
 this.  I have repeatedly expressed the idea that it is *impossible* for a
 single UI to please all users, and have expressed, repeatedly, the sincere
 desire for libpurple to be used widely and extensively.  Indeed, one of
 the virtues of monotone is that it is trivial for you to set up your own
 project to do just this.

 Our sole objection is that our resources, our bug tracker, wiki, and so
 on, are not the appropriate venue to be begging *others* to do this work
 for you.  SourceForge projects are free, and more than adequate for the
 begining project.  Our realization of having outgrown their services is in
 no way intended to denegrate them.  Set up a webpage, and your own
 trackers, and good luck to you.
