 Waht exactly does the pidgin 'New IM' dialog have to do with the totem
 'open url' dialog? They serve wildly different functions. If you want
 something to do with the url (that doesn't involve clicking it) use
 purple-url-handler assuming the Foresight people built pidgin with dbus
 support and you have the dbus python stuff installed.
 There is no reason for pidgin to have an 'open url' dialog/field because
 pidgin is not an application that deals with urls.
