 Well, I've decided to drop Pidgin and go with Trillian, since it works for
 AIM on my computer. No settings/network changes required - I just
 installed it and it worked. I like Pidgin better overall, but I have to
 use the product that actually works for me. Maybe I'll try Pidgin again at
 the next major upgrade.
