 Hi everyone,

 I had problems displaying characters in the chat window, but not the buddy
 list. When I typed Japanese, I only got weird boxes, but the recipient
 could see my Japanese words correctly.

 I fixed this by going to "Preferences>Conversations Tab" and checked "Use
 Font From Theme". U have to restart the current chat window, but not the
 Pidgin program.
