 in my case I have a delay with updating number of new mail, but perhaps it
 is just a
 network.  But imho it doesn't meter in this case because the main point is
 that current
 implementation of email notification in pidgin should be changed.  Current
 scheme works
 well in 1.5 where gaim just show dialog with number of of new mails.  Now,
 when pidgin
 tries to emulate mailer this should be changed.

 The question is how :)
