Comment:

 Though this works when I don't reboot in between closing and restarting
 Pidgin, it appears that at least on my setup (Pidgin 2.0.2 on Ubuntu 7.04)
 this behavior does not extend past a reboot..[[BR]]
 It would be nice if Pidgin would return to starting minimized past a
 reboot aswell..
