 I am also having problems.  I use this for work and have a lot of contacts
 and use folders.  I was trying to move buddies into their respective
 folders since they did not correlate with what I had set up in ICQ.  Four
 out of five people I moved triggers this warning:
 "Unable To Add
 Could not add the buddy [ICQ#] for an unknown reason.  THe most common
 reason for this is that you have the maximum number of allowed buddies in
 your buddy list."

 Granted I do have quite a few buddies.  I switched to Pidgin because the
 Gaim version we use at work for our in house Jabber server does not
 support ICQ and to use the OTR plugin since I am at work.  Do I need to
 take my ICQ list back to Trillian?  I am using just two identities.  If
 there is a maximum please post it, though there is not much I can do to
 down size my list.  I'm fairly sure it is a simple glitch since I did not
 have the warning until I tried moving my existing buddies into a different
 folder.  Thank you for your time.
