 When disabling or exiting pidgin the published presence is not expired
 (Expires: 0) leaving the presence for the registered session online for
 the rest of the valid period of the publish (up to the full 600 seconds/10
 minutes).

 RFC 3903 section 4.1 outlines this behaviour.
