#1971: Finch crashes at random while in MSN conversation
-------------------+--------------------------------------------------------
Reporter: tobias | Owner: sadrul
    Type: defect | Status: new
Priority: minor | Component: finch (gnt/ncurses)
Version: 2.0.2 | Keywords: finch random crash

With Finch (2.0.2) running with only MSN logged on (but on a large
university campus network and no firewall) I get random crashes (I am in a
msn conversation at that moment but it doesnt seem to matter what i'm
actually doing). Because of the size of the network and the probability of
having macs around and online (100%), it might just be the 2-byte bonjour
thingie I saw in other bugtracs (query: !__kernel_vsyscall).

Backtrace (all I got from gdb):

 !#0 0xffffe410 in !__kernel_vsyscall ()[[BR]]
 No symbol table info available.[[BR]]
 !#1 0xb7a77df0 in raise () from /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6[[BR]]

 !#2 0xb7a79641 in abort () from /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6[[BR]]
 No symbol table info available.[[BR]]
 !#3 0xb7aad9bb in ?? () from /lib/tls/i686/cmov/libc.so.6[[BR]]
 No symbol table info available.[[BR]]
 !#4 0x00000000 in ?? ()[[BR]]

If you want I can firewall everything but msn or run a tcpdump sideways to
check what's causing the crashes (and if its indeed the bonjour thingies).
