Comment:

 The backtraces are kind of not-that-useful.

 Do you know what the other person was doing when the crash happened? I
 tried sending custom emoticons, nudges, winks, files, and none of those
 caused a crash in finch. Or does finch crash even if you just login and do
 nothing else? How many buddies do you have in the buddylist on the MSN
 account? If you have any other MSN account, and you login into those (and
 disable the one causing crash), does those crash too?
