 This problem occurs in Windows XP after disabling tabbed conversations in
 the preferences.

 If two or more people are messaging you at the same time, and multiple
 windows are flashing in the taskbar, when you open one of them they will
 all stop flashing.

 I think this may cause problems for people who don't like tabs since they
 will not see that someone has messaged them if if this occurs.
