Comment:

 Idleness is independent of status. You can be available+idle or away+idle,
 etc. For some reason, we are only using the dimmed status icon when using
 the small icon size. The tooltip uses the large size icon, so doesn't get
 dimmed.

 I'm attaching a patch that removes the size restriction. I'm not
 comfortable committing this myself this close to the 2.0 release witout
 knowing why the size restriction was added. Unless a dev knows why it was
 added and gets to it tonight, this probably won't make it in until the
 next release (after 2.0).
