 Regarding Luke's comment (or rather Sean's comment that Luke referred to),
 no, this can't be adjusted to for any amount of time; I have tried VERY
 carefully many times and I can pretty certainly conclude that it is almost
 impossible (if not actually impossible) to place a buddy between two
 adjacent contacts. Being able to do this is essential for manual
 arrangement of buddies to be usable.
