Comment:
I have my groups defined by protocol (ie MSN, Yahoo, ICQ, etc). Generally,
most of my buddies are MSN users, and many of them just leave their MSN
account on, even when they're not home. They can fairly quickly fill up
the buddy window, and the other users which are genuinely there are pushed
below (because they are just idle or whatever reason). If I see that 8
users are online, and can see them all, it's not useful to know how many,
but if I can see that I have 15 buddies online, but can't see them all, I
think that's the same as having the group collapsed (and hence it would be
nice to see how many).
You said: "you might want to know if there are online buddies/contacts
that you can't currently see."
Well, if they don't fit in the window, I can't currently see them, and I'd
like to know how many are there.
