 Oh perhaps I'm misunderstanding what is happening here.

 Windows doesn't inform us that stuff is disconnected before the
 disconnection, so unfortunately Pidgin can't preemptively cleanly
 disconnect your accounts to prevent errors.

 There may be something we can do for the case of going into standby, I'll
 see if we can detect this somehow.
