 By nature I first checked the "Tools" menu for the "View user log" option
 and was a bit surprised to see it was instead located in the "Buddies"
 menu. I guess this makes since because it is viewing the log of a BUDDY,
 but at the same time I feel like the log is a tool.

 If a tool, such as the log viewer is under "Buddies" because it deals with
 contacts, then I believe the tool Buddy Pounce, should also be located
 under the "Buddies" menu.

 Ideally, I feel like the "Buddies" menu deals with the manipulation of
 buddies. Such as sending one an IM, showing/hiding buddies, adding
 buddies. Whereas the log viewer doesn't really manipulate, it justs a TOOL
 for buddies. Which is why ideally i'd like to see the View Log option put
 under the "Tools" menu.
