#918: Font buttons in the IM interface

I understand that most clients show a lot of buttons for font manipulation
on the interface. Some people may use the bold, italics and etc while
sending messages to friends. However, I feel like that "some" is a
minority. I have never actually put a word to bold to give it importance
in a IM conversation. I feel like IMs are for quick chat and non-important
conversation. If something would require me to use different fonts and
style I'd probably write an email or send a document.

I'd like to see the number of buttons dedicated to changing the font
limited down. Maybe just a menu that contains the font properties or just
 2-3 important ones.

The current interface has 9 buttons that deal with fonts, and only 3
buttons that deal with something more useful. I would like to see more
useful buttons take the place such as a button for "Get Info", "Send
 File", "View Log", "Pounce".

I find myself going to the "Conversation" menu all the time to do these
things, whereas I have never used the font buttons. Oh wait, I have used
 reset formatting...once.
