 I don't think the direction of the arrow matters, what does is where the
 arrow points to. It's wrong to associate the direction of an arrow with
 sign on/off.

 The Tango set recently changed the direction to rtl
 (http://tango.freedesktop.org/static/cvs/tango-icon-theme/32x32/actions
 /system-log-out.png)
  and i think GNOME did too.

 The arrow door thing were not good icons to begin with.
 I'm open to suggestions (other than changing the direction of arrows).
