 Fair enough.  However, the error message wasn't at all helpful in
 resolving the problem and migration between versions is likely to be a
 potentially high-stress event for low-skill users.  So I suggest:
  * Have the migration process always write a log of what it attempts to do
 and any errors it encounters.
  * Have the migration error message mention the existence of the log.
  * Incorporate export/import of accounts/buddy-lists/preferences into
 Pidgin, so the user can fall back to migrating manually.  (I see that
 ticket #463 claims there is a buddy-list import/export plugin, but I can't
 find it on the list of plugins in the Windows version of Pidgin.)
