 Several near-indispensible features of Pidgin have been moved out to
 plugins, this is okay, but their configuration is now difficult to access.
 Plugins should be allowed to create their own panes in the preferences
 dialog (possibly in their own section), and plugin enable/disable should
 be placed in the main configuration. For an example of near-ideal
 behavior, see the provided screenshots of Audacious.
