Comment (by srippon):
Dear datallah
Sorry I'm a little confused. In your message were you saying that my
suggestion violates MS guidelines? If so I was wondering if you could
please show me the guidelines it violates? I did a quick search around
and found the following MS Vista start menu guidelines
(http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/aa511447.aspx):
* Eliminate unnecessary folders by putting programs at the top level or
in a single product folder. Generally, your program should have a single
shortcut on the Start menu.
* Create a product folder only if your product is a collection of
individual programs (three or more), and users think of your product in
terms of that collection.
I had trouble finding the Win XP guidelines.
Also in your post are you saying what I've suggested is pointless and
annoying? If so why is it pointless and annoying? I realise it isn't a
major issue but I thought it would be something that could be easily
changed and would save a lot of users a lot of effort.
Chat soon.
Cheers,[[BR]]
Scott.

startmenu entry in a subdirectory. This violates the MS guidelines and
(more importantly) it is pointless and annoying. Fixes #1188
