 Simpler way to reproduce it:

  * Buddy logs in as Away
  * Buddy logs in as Away again, from another client
  * Buddy logs out of the other client
  * The "available" status icon is shown, even though the status is Away.\

 It appears that the status icon gets set based on what changes are made or
 something, instead of directly using the status to find it.
