 Thanks for the patch!

 I've changed this so the translation happens in pidgin/gtkprefs.c instead
 of pidgin/gtkthemes.c. This way, we shouldn't have to worry about the
 translated name ending up in prefs.xml. I wasn't able to test that. I've
 attached a diff of what I committed. Can you make sure that works for you,
 please?

 Also, what name (first & last) would you like in COPYRIGHT?
