 I have tried initiating a doodle session with a yahoo user and they tried
 initiating with me, both failed. When I try to start nothing happens. I am
 using windows xp pidgin 2.0.1

 When the yahoo user attempts to start they get this message: "waiting for
 your buddy to load doodle"

 I then received this message from the user "Upgrade to the latest version
 of Yahoo! Messenger by visiting http://messenger.yahoo.com"

 Initial Comment:
 Doodling seems broken in 2.0.0 beta 5.
 I've tried it both in Linux (Debian testing) and Windows XP. It used work
 in beta 3. The persons I've tried it against are running both Gaim and
 official Yahoo client.
 No doodle window appears for me but it does on the other end.

 Just to say that I confirm this in beta2.0.0beta3.1.... When I try to
 initiate a yahoo doodle with someone using the winXP Yahoo messenger
 client, They accept and get a message saying that it is waiting for me to
 start doodling.

 I bumped into this today. It'd seem that the receiver of the request
 replies with their main profile's ID, not necessarily the one you've sent
 the request too. Without digging around the code, I'd say this is causing
 major breakage for people whose profile ID is different to the known
 contact. (Tim can probably explain the multiple profile/ID stuff a little
 better)
