 You didn't show anything about whether the status management is user
 friendly in pidgin or not, you showed that you didn't like it. Those are
 two very different things. Further, simply stating "make this easier" is
 not a "workable improvement" it is a request (or a demand depending on
 tone/usage) for someone else to "fix" something.

 Where could we add this status management as a context menu? To what would
 this menu be attached? What would the menu contain? How would it interact
 with the global/saved status system?
