 If you're like me, you navigate more quickly around the desktop with the
 keyboard than with the mouse pointer. In Pidgin, when the main
 window/contact list has focus, you can (or rather, you are supposed to be
 able to) navigate from the contact list itself to the big button that is
 the Status Menu with the TAB key. But in Pidgin 2.2.2 (and since a few
 releases back), this isn't working very well. In Pidgin 2.2.0 and 2.2.1 at
 least, you can navigate to the Status Menu button and back to the Contact
 List, but you can't press the space bar or enter to actually activate the
 menu. Now in Pidgin 2.2.2, on the other hand, you can navigate
 '''''to''''' the Status Menu button and even press the space bar or enter
 to activate it (thank you!), but you cannot navigate '''''back''''' to the
 Contact List by any means that I'm aware of (grr :).

 Pidgin 2.2.2 compiled on Ubuntu/Linux 7.10
