 When I try to run Pidgin 2.2.2, the application doesn't finish starting
 up.

 A space for the tray icon appears in the system tray, but the icon itself
 doesn't show up and the application interface never appears.

 When I start the Task Manager I can see the process running but it is lot
 listed in the Applications window.

 I tried uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version.
 I tried the "debug" version, but it never created the file it was supposed
 to create.

 I created a debug.log file which is attached to this ticket
