 An error was encountered reading your buddy list. They have
 not been loaded, and the old file has been renamed to /home/
 matt/.purple/blist.xml~

 I am running Kubuntu 7.10 (updated as of 2007-11-14 0815 est) and pidgin
 2.2.1

 I normally have 6 accounts enabled (2 AIM, 1 Yahoo, 1 MSN, 1 LJ/Jabber,
 and 1 SameTime), but by fiddling with which are enabled or disabled, it
 looks like this only happens if I have one of the AIMs enabled. I don't
 know how the process actually works, but it seems like may be because the
 buddy list it is getting from AIM for that account has something in it
 that it doesn't like. I don't really want to attach the blist.xml that it
 makes after a connection with that account, but I would be up for emailing
 it to someone if that would help.

 If there is something else I need to do to collect more info, just let me
 know.
