Comment:

 What "problem" is pidgin detecting specifically? (Post the debug log of
 the failure/error/etc. if you can.) No network problem should cause pidgin
 to disable an account, but it is possible that your network problems are
 causing the server to report a fatal error. A large amount of work has
 just been done on improving how pidgin handles error conditions so it is
 also possible that your problem will go away with the next version but we
 will have to wait and see about that.
