Comment:

In this case Pidgin states that there's a "problem" with connecting
propably because there's a problem with my account and that the account is
 disabled.
Most of the time that happens in the morning when I start up my computer
 and nearly allways with MSN.

When I press the button with the problem on it Pidgin asks if I want to
re-enable the account and when I do, it happily re-connects with the
 unchanged accountdata.
If I don't take this action, Pidgin won't try to reconnect :-(

I suspect it to be a "time-out" problem of some sort which triggers Pidgin
in thinking it can't connect because of a accountproblem. I can imagine
the time-out happens because I'm busy starting up all kinds of programs at
that moment and Pidgin simply doesn't get enough processortime.
As I stated it's the MSN plugin that quits most of the time but the ICQ-
plugin does it as well sometimes. And when it happens to both accounts
Pidgin puts up a dialog in which I have to re-enable both accounts. And
when I have (not changing anything else) both accounts happily re-connect
 (most of the time).

 Hope this helps?
