 my plan to come up with a good way to allow for users to override those
 colors should they want to, I've intended to use GTK+ theme colors (the
 way we already handle link colors) to do this, but with the thought that
 we might sometime in the near(-ish) future be moving to something like
 webkit I haven't had much motivation recently.
