 I agree, having red for messages directed to you makes more sense since
 they're more "urgent". I wish it had been that way from the beginning,
 since swapping the colors now would probably be confusing for people used
 to them.

 I would love to work on a plugin or preference or something that can
 customize this but I've never tried writing one before (although I've read
 the tutorial). If anyone can give me pointers on the best place to start,
 that would be awesome. If not, I'll just wade through the code :)
