Comment:

 This is a double-edged sword.  If we do this, then we're going to get a
 ton of complaints that it needs to be changed back.  Stupid !MySpace IM
 bugs aside, you can rename groups or move buddies into consolidated groups
 and this will essentially be a one-time process.  I don't really see a
 need for us to implement something like this.

 I'm going to close this ticket, but if another developer cares to do this
 I'm not opposed to reopening the ticket.
