 It appears I bug-reported a bit hastily - this appears to be a Firefox
 oddity, not a Pidgin one.

 ''With all FireFox add-ons disabled'', I can paste the link from the
 original report into the 'Start>Run' dialog in Windows and get the 9-new-
 tabs behavior originally reported IF Firefox is NOT currently running.

 If I have a Firefox window already open, pasting the link into the
 'Start>Run' dialog only gets me one new tab with the full URL including
 all '|' characters.

 Pidgin gives the same behavior as the 'Start>Run' dialog - 9 tabs if
 Firefox isn't running, 1 tab if it is.


 Still odd, but apparently nothing to do with Pidgin.

 Please close out this bug report.
