 I'm still having problems with it fetching new buddy icons.  At least with
 MSN.  But I don't have the time to fully characterize the problem right
 now.  Just know that this is not fixed.

 can force Pidgin to re-fetch icons by exiting then moving your
 ~/.purple/blist.xml out of the way.  When you're done testing you might
 want to exit Pidgin again and move the file back into place to be sure you
 don't lose any data)
